- I studied at the Corcoran and later at the Smithsonian and the Yellow Barn. For several years I painted weekly with two other local Washington artists. A colorist, I compose with colors and shapes to create compelling paintings. My paintings are both planned and spontaneous. Last year i discovered cold wax and have fallen in love with the Japanese wabi-sabi method of painting - there are an array of tools one can use to create a painting. I exhibited for several years at Foundry Gallery and at other art spaces in the Washington area. My artwork is in private collections nationally.
