I studied at the Corcoran and later at the Smithsonian and the Yellow Barn. For the past several years I have painted weekly with two other local Washington artists. A colorist, I compose with colors and shapes to create compelling paintings. My paintings are both planned and spontaneous, often reworking the canvas as I paint, with each color and shape adding new complexities and intrigue to the canvas.
I have exhibited for several years at Foundry Gallery and also at other art spaces in the Washington area. My artwork is in private collections nationally.
